Our Work:  Brand Identity, Content Marketing & Guerilla Social Media Campaign

Introduction:

We were tasked with assisting Smilocracy in its mission to spread the power of smiles across the globe using various digital marketing strategies. This case study highlights the successful implementation of a viral sticker campaign, along with brand identity development, guerrilla content marketing, and social media campaigns. Through our efforts, we helped Smilocracy effectively share the power of smiles with individuals worldwide, while making a significant impact on the organization's growth and visibility.

 

Client Background:

Smilocracy, a non-profit organization founded by Matthew Goodman, aimed to spread the power of smiles across the world. The organization's mission was to positively impact individuals' lives and foster a global community of happiness. However, Smilocracy faced the challenge of reaching a broader audience and gaining recognition for their cause. To address these challenges, we designed and executed an effective digital marketing strategy on several fronts:

We created a distinctive visual identity, including a vibrant logo and a consistent color palette that embodied the spirit of happiness and positivity.

Guerrilla Content Marketing: To capture attention and spark curiosity among the target audience, we devised a prolific guerrilla content marketing strategy.  We created captivating and heartwarming content, such as videos showcasing individuals' reactions to surprise acts of kindness and viral smile stickering. These videos were strategically shared across various digital platforms to generate organic engagement and encourage users to share the content further.

  3. Social Media Campaign: Recognizing the power of social media in amplifying reach, we launched an immersive social media campaign for Smilocracy. We developed a content calendar with a mix of visually appealing posts, inspirational stories, and user-generated content. We also encouraged audience participation through contests and challenges, motivating users to share their own stories of spreading smiles. By utilizing targeted advertising and engaging with influencers, we maximized the campaign's impact and ensured it reached a broader audience.

The sticker campaign gained significant traction, resulting in close to 100,000 stickers being distributed worldwide.
